James founded Watford Surveyors after more than a decade working for national surveying practices. He grew up in south Watford and studied Building Surveying at the University of Westminster before qualifying as a chartered surveyor. He now leads the practice's residential surveying division and is known for being particularly thorough on older and larger properties across Hertfordshire and the home counties. Outside work, James coaches junior football in Bushey and is passionate about Watford FC.

Sarah joined Watford Surveyors six years ago, bringing with her extensive experience in residential property surveys across Hertfordshire and north London. She studied at Oxford Brookes University and trained with a well-regarded practice in central London before returning to her home county.
